The Department of Computer Application began its journey in 2011. It offers a vital preparatory level graduate course perfectly aligned with the context of the modern IT industry.
To enable students from various backgrounds to familiarize themselves with the course, special orientation classes are held. These sessions make students feel at ease with the complex degree curriculum and help build rapport with peers and educators.

Candidates shall be required to have passed the Plus Two/equivalent examination in science stream with Mathematics / Computer Science / Informatics Practices as optional.

The computing facility consists of a state-of-the-art network of computers with more than 50 nodes running Linux & Windows OS. It offers high-speed internet connectivity with 100Mbps Asianet and 40Mbps BSNL Leased Line.
