Bishop Speechly College for Advanced Studies is dedicated to providing an academic environment free from any form of harassment, intimidation, or ragging. We believe that every student has the right to pursue their education in a peaceful and supportive atmosphere.
AICTE Mandate (2009)
"The Institution shall take appropriate measures for prevention of ragging in any form, in the light of AICTE regulation 'Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging in Technical Institutions, Universities including Deemed to Universities imparting technical education' Regulation 2009 (F.No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 01/07/2009). In case of failure to prevent the instances of ragging by the Institutions, the Council shall take appropriate action as per the notified regulations."

Maintaining a constant vigil throughout the campus, hostels, and surrounding areas to prevent any occurrence of ragging proactively.
Awareness Campaigns
Educating senior students about the severe psychological and legal consequences of ragging, fostering a culture of mutual respect.
Counseling & Support
Providing immediate psychological support and counseling to freshers to help them acclimate to the college environment comfortably.
Strict Disciplinary Action
Conducting rapid, unbiased investigations into any reports of ragging and taking stringent disciplinary actions against perpetrators.
